Custom hand made reclaimed oak herringbone with bespoke border and finish.
Our clients in Mirfield requested a custom made reclaimed oak herringbone, with bespoke finish and custom border consisting of a reclaimed oak plank and brass inlay.
The subfloor needed a lot of corrections in order to get it nice levelled.
We have started by designing a large flooring sample following our client’s instructions. They really loved and gave us the go ahead.
We corrected the subfloor by removing the existing chipboard and rectify the joints by planing them down
All the flooring was made by hand which summed up to over 1000 pieces all distressed bevelled.
After installing the floor, we have been able to match the exact stain our client requested and framed it all nicely with a custom reclaimed plank border with brass inlay.
Client was extremely pleased with the results and decided to go ahead with custom reclaimed stairs to match the floor which we will showcase in our stairs portfolio.
